Go. See. Cirque du Soleil “Quidam!” It was fantastic! Definitely more than I expected. The things they did with their body was mesmerizing. The incredible LIVE music; sure I didn’t know what they were singing, but it sound oh, so good! From the beginning to the end it was captivating.
Opening up with the Aerial Contortion in Silk was a brilliant idea. She was so graceful and dramatic. The newspaper guy was a hoot to watch as well…….he walked in air!—Yes! He really did*! You just have to see it yourself. I won’t ruin it for you.
I was there in tow with four of my sons. The 6, 4, 2, and 1 year old.
They loved it! Although only one lasted to the end, they were able to have alot to talk about all of the way back home.(You just make sure your little ones have taken their nap before heading out) In hindsight, I’m thinking that it may not have been a problem, as one part of the show was a tad bit suggestive.
Overall, it was beautiful! It’s amazing how the vision of two men, created such a enchanting, collection of illusions. The imaginative world created by the little girl (which is the setting of the show) was designed so colorful, with human statues, German wheel, hand balancers, jump rope and much more! <Hold up!> Didn’t I say that I wasn’t gonna ruin it for you?
