I did it! I procured a hula hoop! I walked into the local thrift store and walked over to the prettiest, biggest, brightest, most sturdy hula hoop I have ever seen in my life. It was almost like the movies. The AC was blowing in my hair, there was a glow on my silhouette with each step I took. As quickly as that happened I snapped out of the dream and tuck my $5 exercise equipment into my cart. Yes friends, I am the proud, 30+ year old, owner of a bo·na fide adult hula hoop!

Now that my son is back in school I have to figure out something to replace it. I also figured out ways to recycle it when I wear it out.
