The Black Birthing Guide For POC’s

Look I had nine (9) births. Since 2010, I have assisted in 16 births. So let’s just all agree that I do know a little something about having babies. Also since 2017*, I have been working part time for one of the leading mom power nonprofits in the country. They are amazing at hold out politicians accountable and informed on social issues that affect us moms. Including birthing People Of Color (POC’s). Then there’s another non profit that I high-key admire for their approach for protection childrens clean air, safe water, and other toxins.It’s because of these other affiliations that im a part of that sets me under a different light other full service doulas. So on this FAther’s Day 2019. I have decided to write a book.It shall be called; The Black Birthing Guide For POC’s.

So here’s what I’m doing. I’ll include other doulas to contribute to an online webinar. Sorta like the one we did during Black Maternal Health Week: Birthing POC’s Holistically on Facebook. That one went VERY WELL! If you didn’t see it, take advantage of it now. 1.9k people reached, 172 responses, average target reached was women aged 35-44.
