These days, you have to support your friends and favorite small business. This up coming weekend. I know there will be a lot of shopping going on within the next few weeks, and I have all most 50 local business owners to introduce you too.

Some times, I get really Big Ideas. I’m talking eye popping!  See the 6th Total Children’s Wellness Fair was last Saturday at KIPP Charlotte, Charlotte, NC. I kid you not, every last one of our vendors was handed picked yours truley, and absolutely adored by Queen City Stay At Home Moms. Because of that, I came up with a way to maximize thier participation from the fair! Now you tell me, what better way than than to share them with you? My most favorite people in the world?

Friday Four: Small Biz Saturday

So how was that Black Friday Shopping today?

You know, I still wonder what compels people to leave their families early to open up stores at ungodly hours. And yes, it’s comically hypocritical to give thanks on one day, only to max out the credit card a day later.

Did you shop ANY small business? I know they would LOVE your business. It would help them with tools, classes, groceries, and other living expenses. Don’t you want your local  small business to stay in business? I know that I do.

I want my favorite small business to thrive. This Small Business Saturday go out and shop your favorite small business. It’s the best way to tell them that you like what they do AND want them to stay in business AND because it’s good for the shops and it’s good for the community.

And know the requirements for free shipping so you to don’t get stuck at checkout paying more than you intended. My daughter purchase came out to $2.00, but Shipping charges equaled $8.00. Go figure!
